1. Deep Conditioning your hair overnight or even for at least 15 - 45 minutes. Using a sulfate free conditioner helps to keep your hair soft, shiny, and flowing. Make sure all shampoos are sulfate free also. Try not to wash the hair with shampoo too often, which will cause the hair to dry out. When your starts feeling dry condition it! Do not shampoo. ONLY shampoo when you want to remove glue and products from the hair and lace. (preferred products are listed at the bottom)
2. Always air dry your hair after washing. Squeeze & brush all of the water out the hair. Apply a leave in conditioner and set out to air dry.
3. Before styling always be sure to add any serums and heat protectant. Always keep your hair moisturized.
4. When wearing curly hair detangle or brush out using a spray bottle solution using water and also a wide tooth comb. Add product as needed. (preferred products:

or water and setting foam (make sure hair is completely wet, add setting foam to hair or brush and brush through. do not run your fingers through after brushing setting foam through.)
5. When combing hair always start from the bottom!
6. After washing your hair and squeezing out excess water, you may continue to dry it with white t-shirt. White t-shirts keep the moisture in the hair while towels absorbs the moisture from the hair.
7. Wearing glue less units not only are great protective styles but also helps the longevity of your hair. Taking your glue less unit off every night before bed and placing on mannequin heads helps maintain styles and decreases the amount of detangling and heat having to use on the hair.
